Oatey® PVC Rain-R-Shine Medium Bodied Fast Set Blue Cement is recommended for pool and spa, irrigation, potable water, pressure pipe and DWV applications. It is formulated for wet conditions and quick pressurization, and is easy to apply with included in-lid dauber. This blue, medium bodied, fast set cement can be used to solvent weld all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6 in. diameter with interference fit. - Medium bodied blue cement for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 6 in diameter with interference fit
- Low VOC solvent cement meets California South Coast air quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD method 40 and various environmental requirements
- Very fast setting "Hot" cement formulated for wet conditions and/or quick pressurization and fast installation
- No primer needed on non-pressure DWV, up through 6 in diameter where local codes permit
- 4 to 5 min (30 to 50 deg F)/3 to 4 min (50 to 70 deg F)/1 to 2 min (70 to 90 deg F) setting
- Minimum 500 cps at 73 deg F +/- 2 deg F viscosity
- 7.83 +/- 0.2 lbs./gallon density
